Something is shifting… can you feel it?
Today marks the New Moon in Aries… and this is not just any new moon. It’s the first new moon of the zodiacal new year… AKA: the official astrological reset.
It's the real “new year, new me” moment… and I’m super curious to know if you’ve noticed a shift.
Cuz here we are… four months into 2026… and it seems like a lot of people are in this in-between right now (myself included).
That place where a past version of us still occasionally shows up… the old patterns, behaviors, the “saying yes when we really mean no” kinda vibe…
AND yet the new, bold version is loudly knocking, ready to burst onto the scene.
What's brewing
I’m talking about an identity upgrade.
Aries energy is bold. It’s the spark. The initiator. The one who goes first.
And this new moon doesn't need you to have it all figured out. But it IS asking you to get real with yourself about what no longer fits with who you are becoming.
I came up against this in my own life…right before my birthday, actually. A pattern I thought I’d overcome, came outta nowhere and smacked me right in the face! 🤣
It showed up the way old patterns do… wearing a different outfit, but hiding the same sneaky energy underneath.
Recently, a design client came to me asking to take on a project for another year. My intuition was screaming at me not to do this… but the people pleaser inside got the best of me.
The agreement we made on paper, looked good. I thought I had protected myself… set clear terms, boundaries and expectations.
Yet somehow (of course), I found myself watching the situation unravel and I was being asked to give way more of my energy than I had originally agreed to.
But this time… instead of sucking it up and pushing through like past versions of me would have, I made the tough decision to walk away. Because I realized that in order to stay committed to where I’m going, I had to let go of what wasn’t working.
And that’s what this Aries new moon is asking of all of us. So I ask you:
What sneaky patterns have shown up for you dressed as "opportunities"?
What have you said yes to that your body was already saying no to?
And what are you finally ready to set down… not because it’s easy, but because you’ve outgrown it?
You are not the same person you were in January. And you are definitely not the same person you were a year ago.
So, if something in your life still fits more of the old you than the new you? That’s worth paying attention to.

Creative AlCHEMY EXERCISE
Stepping into alignment with the 3R Method
As some of you know, the 3R Method is the framework I teach in my community to uncover creative blocks and shift old patterns on the energetic level.
It’s a simple method that's easy to remember → Recognize. Release. Retune.
So here’s a little exercise you can do to uncover some of those old patterns and breathe new energy into who you’re becoming.
First, grab your journal. Give yourself 10 minutes. Light a candle if you have one. And then start with:
Recognize: (3-5 min) This is where you gotta get honest. Ask yourself: Where have I been out of alignment lately? What patterns keep showing up, even when I think I’ve healed them? Write it down. Name it. Patterns lose their power the moment you stop pretending you don’t see them.
Release: (5-10 min) Now it’s time to let it go. Take three deep breaths, in through your nose, out through your mouth and grab a pen and paper.
Write: “I release…” and let it pour. Old agreements. Old identities. The version of yourself that said yes when you meant no. The story that kept you small.

Retune: (5-8 min) This is where we set the new frequency and anchor in the new identity.
Write: “I am becoming…” and describe the version of you that you are stepping into right now. What does that person believe? How do they move? What are they no longer available for?
At the very end, write one clear intention for this new cycle… not a goal, an intention. Who you are becoming, not just what you want to achieve.
Then read it out loud. Aries energy loves a declaration. Let your voice carry it into the world.
